Canadian Tire Petroleum Selects Gilbarco Veeder-Root and John Reid & Sons as Sole Source Supplier
Five-year dispenser contract based on reliability and service support capabilities.
GREENSBORO, NC USA - April 4, 2005 - Canadian
Tire Petroleum Ltd. announced that Gilbarco Veeder-Root has been
selected as the preferred brand of fuel dispensers and that John Reid
and Son has been selected as their Gilbarco Veeder-Root local supplier.
The selection was based on criteria that included innovation,
reliability, service support capabilities, nationwide service network,
ease of integration, and POS connectivity.
Canadian Tire Petroleum will use Gilbarco Veeder-Root Encore dispensers
exclusively at new installations. The company already uses
Veeder-Root's Red Jacket brand of submersible pumps.
Canadian Tire Petroleum is Canada's largest volume independent gasoline
retailer. In business since 1958, the company operates a network of 252
Gas Bars. Canadian Tire Petroleum is known for providing outstanding
