Gilbarco and Veeder-Root announce sales and service appointments

Gilbarco Inc. and The Veeder-Root Company have announced new appointments within the sales and service leadership teams

Greensboro, NC and Simsbury, CT - April 23, 2002 - Gilbarco Inc. and The Veeder-Root Company have announced new appointments within the sales and service leadership teams. The two companies together represent the leading brands of solutions and technologies that provide convenience, control, and environmental integrity for retail fueling and adjacent markets.

Steve Henry, Vice President of Sales for Gilbarco and Veeder-Root, will oversee the sales team and John Dion, Vice President and General Manager of Service, will oversee the service and support teams.

Mike Vegeais was appointed Director of Channels and Strategic Initiatives and will focus on strategic channel management for both petroleum and other retail markets. In this role, he will lead sales initiatives for HVR, POS, and backoffice software. Previously, Vegeais was Director of North America Distributor Sales for Gilbarco Inc.

Jeff Alascio was appointed Regional Director for the Eastern Region. Alascio joined Veeder-Root this year and was responsible for business development. He was previously with Rockwell Automation. T.J. White was appointed Regional Director for the Central Region. White was previously Eastern Region Manager for Gilbarco. Alascio and White will have leadership responsibility for regional sales teams that will include full-line district managers, Red Jacket sales mangers and FMS sales managers that will provide support to our customers and distributors.

Jeff Davis was appointed Director for Veeder-Root/Red Jacket Distribution. In this role, Jeff and his team will provide continued sales and support to the Veeder-Root and Red Jacket distributors who do not carry Gilbarco products.

Pat Schoen was appointed Director of Field Support for Gilbarco Veeder-Root reporting to John Dion, Vice President and General Manager of Service. He will have responsibility for field support for Gilbarco and Veeder-Root. Schoen was previously Manager of Field Service and Technical Support for Veeder-Root.
