Danaher Announces Completion of the Acquisition of Marconi Commerce Systems
Washington, D.C. - February 1, 2002 - Danaher Corporation (NYSE:DHR)
announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Marconi
Commerce Systems, formerly known as Gilbarco, from Marconi plc (MONI.L)
for $325 million. Gilbarco, with approximately $500 million in
revenues, is a global leader in retail automation and environmental
products and services.
