Gilbarco Veeder-Root announces the appointment of Martin Gafinowitz as president of dispensing technology and automation solutions.

Greensboro, NC USA - July 9, 2003 - Gilbarco Veeder-Root announces the appointment of Martin Gafinowitz as president of dispensing technology and automation solutions. Gilbarco Veeder-Root is a global leader in retail and commercial fuel dispensing technology and equipment, point of sale systems, fuel management systems, and environmental compliance. In this role, Gafinowitz will have global responsibility and will focus on leveraging the overall technology integration and commercialization of the company's full range of products and services.

Gafinowitz was most recently vice president and general manager of The Veeder-Root Company. While at Veeder-Root, Gafinowitz also held positions in sales and marketing with responsibilities for Americas, Europe, and Asia. Before joining Veeder-Root, Gafinowitz was the Sales Executive for Normond Instruments, a tank gauge company that was acquired by parent company Danaher. He will relocate to Greensboro, NC.
