Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Danaher announce the appointment of Gary Masse as President and Group Executive for Gilbarco Veeder-Root.

GREENSBORO, NC - June 18, 2003 - Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Danaher announce the appointment of Gary Masse as President and Group Executive for Gilbarco Veeder-Root. Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Gasboy are global leaders in retail and commercial fuel dispensing technology and equipment, point of sale systems, fuel management systems, and environmental compliance. In this role, Masse will have management responsibility for Gilbarco, Veeder-Root and Gasboy worldwide.

Scott Clawson has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Business Development for Danaher Corporation where he will focus on future acquisitions to strategically grow the portfolio of Danaher businesses.

Masse was formerly President for all of the Danaher Linear Motion businesses. He will relocate to Greensboro, NC.
