Gilbarco and Veeder-Root Announce New Consolidated Salesforce

The new sales force includes sales managers who represent
the combined Gilbarco Veeder-Root brands and a core group that
represents Veeder-Root only.
Greensboro, NC and Simsbury, CT - May 13, 2002 - Gilbarco Inc. and
the Veeder-Root Company, which recently combined marketing brands, has
announced its new consolidated sales force for North America. The new
sales force, which is larger than either company's previous sales
groups, includes sales managers who represent the combined Gilbarco
Veeder-Root brands and a core group that represents Veeder-Root only.
"Our new sales force is armed with substantial Gilbarco,
Veeder-Root, and Red Jacket experience," says Scott Clawson, president
of Gilbarco Veeder-Root. "We look forward to continuing our long-term
partnerships with our distributors and customers as we grow our
capabilities," he added. The group reports to Steve Henry, Vice
President of Sales for Gilbarco and Veeder-Root North America.
The following were named District Sales Managers for the Eastern
Region: Jeff Chinn assigned to Alabama, Kentucky and East Tennessee
based in Lexington, KY; Tim Fleming assigned to Florida and Georgia
based in Atlanta, GA. Tom Lowery assigned to Pennsylvania, Delaware,
Maryland, and Virginia based in Wayne, PA: Frank Mochak assigned to New
York and New Jersey and is based in Westfield, MA; Luis Molina assigned
to Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and
Connecticut based in East Windsor, NJ; and, Brad Resler assigned to
North Carolina and South Carolina based in Greensboro, NC. Bill
Carpenter is assigned Red Jacket Product Sales Manager supporting the
Eastern Region based in Hickory, NC. The group reports to Jeff Alascio,
Eastern Regional Sales Director.
The following were named District Sales Managers for the Central
Region: Bobby Hemphill assigned to Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas,
and West Tennessee based in Jackson, MI; Bob Leo assigned to Oklahoma,
Kansas, and West Missouri based in Kansas City, MO; Joe Lynch assigned
to Michigan and Eastern Canada based in Toronto, Ontario; Andrew
Stednitz assigned to Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South
Dakota based in Omaha, NE; Sean White assigned to Ohio, Indiana, and
West Virginia based in Columbus, OH; and, Dave Zumbaugh assigned to
Illinois, Wisconsin, and East Missouri based in the territory. Alan
Betts is assigned Red Jacket Product Sales Manager supporting the
Central Region based in Detroit, MI. The group reports to TJ White,
Central Regional Sales Director.
The following were named District Sales Managers for the Western
Region: John Bjorklund assigned to Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado,
Montana, and Wyoming based in Phoenix, AZ; Tim Brundrett assigned to
Northern Texas based in Houston, TX; Ken Durocher assigned to Southern
Texas based in San Antonio, TX; Lance Mueller assigned to Washington,
Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, and Western Canada based in Vancouver BC; and,
Don Murashima assigned to California, Nevada, and Hawaii based in
Southern California. Mike Thornton is assigned Red Jacket Product Sales
Manager and Jim Schmuck is assigned FMS Product Sales Manager
supporting the Western Region. The group reports to David Nugent
Western Regional Manager.
The following District Sales Mangers have been appointed to provide
support to the Veeder-Root/Red Jacket distributors who do not carry
Gilbarco products: Curtis Brown assigned to South Carolina, North
Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Ohio, and
Western Pennsylvania based in Hagerstown, MD; Dave Burgoon assigned to
Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Washington,
Oregon, California, Alaska, Hawaii and Western Canada based in
Glendale, AZ; Mike Green assigned to Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas,
Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska South Dakota, and North Dakota
based in Dallas, TX; Greg King assigned to Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky,
Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri based in
Chesterfield, MO; Paul Stone assigned to Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont,
Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut; New York, New Jersey, Eastern
Pennsylvania, and Eastern Canada based in West Hartford, CT; and Jeff
Wilson assigned to Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and
Mississippi. The group reports to Jeff Davis, Director for
Veeder-Root/Red Jacket Distribution.
The following were named Strategic Account Managers and will work
directly with our national account customers: George Bartlett based in
Overland Park, KS; John Gallo based in Charleston, SC; Cheryl Laniewicz
based in Golden, CO; Mark Riehs based in Irvine, CA; Steve Stewart
based in Toronto, Ontario; and Steve Phillippie based in Greensboro,
NC. Ralph Lawrence was named Strategic Account Executive. The group
reports to Steve Henry.
John Gilstrap was named Sr. HVR Sales Manager based in Tulsa, OK.
Reporting to Gilstrap is Carey Morgan, HVR Sales Manager based in
Greensboro, NC. Kevin Jessup and Tim Harvey were named POS Product
Sales Managers, based in Greensboro, NC. Karen Newman was named Inside
Sales Manager based in Simsbury, CT. The group reports to Mike Vegeais,
Director of Channels and Strategic Initiatives.
