Gilbarco Veeder-Root Encore S Series dispenser debuts at NACS

Greensboro, NC USA - November 15, 2005 - Gilbarco Veeder-Root will introduce and exhibit the new ergonomically-designed Encore® S Series at the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) show booth # 1933, November 16-18, 2005 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

"The new design builds upon Gilbarco's Encore dispenser, which is the industry standard for driving profit," said Jon DeLine, product manager for Gilbarco Veeder-Root.

The Encore S Series features a refined style that delivers an intuitive customer experience. This results in 13% faster customer input, improving throughput and profitability during peak periods. The new design consolidates all transactional elements into a 12" x 21" rectangular area. Tactile and visual cues improve consumer efficiency in operating the dispenser.

Our customers comment that they like the new dispensers because they are fast and so easy to use." Elmore has had the dispensers installed for more than six months.

The Encore S Series also features Gilbarco's SMART Technologies. Solid construction and quality materials are backed by a four-year warranty on most exterior surfaces. In addition, new security features reduce fraud potential.

The new security features include sensors that enable remote monitoring and enhanced physical security. The Encore S Series also features tighter control of dispenser programming and price change modes and options that provide additional encryption of consumer PIN entry used in debit transactions.
