Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Power Integrity Announce Plans for new Integrated Power Distribution System
System designed to maximize uptime and lower maintenance costs.
Greensboro, NC - USA - October 10, 2003 - Gilbarco Veeder-Root and
Power Integrity Corporation (PICO) announced today plans to introduce
the PICO PetroPower Manager, a new integrated power distribution and
control system specifically designed to support common Gilbarco
Veeder-Root equipment. PICO is the leader in the development and
support of engineered electrical systems for the retail fuel dispensing
industry, including convenience stores and hypermarkets.
The PICO PetroPower Manager will be designed and pre-configured for
common Gilbarco Veeder-Root fueling system configurations, including
dispensers, point-of-sale systems, automatic tank gauges, and
submersible pumps. The system can reduce construction time, facilitate
a first-time error-free start-up, prevent site downtime, improve
safety, and accelerate resolution of field troubleshooting.
"We are committed to maximizing uptime and lowering the maintenance
costs for our retail fueling systems." said Martin Gafinowitz,
president for North America. "Proper electrical installation is one of
the top drivers in improving field quality and uptime and our customers
now have the option of a standardized electrical solution for their
sites."
Gilbarco Veeder-Root is the first retail fueling system supplier to
specify and recommend an engineered electrical solution designed for
the entire fueling system at a convenience store or hypermarket. PICO
PetroPower Manager will be provided and supported by Power Integrity
Corporation. The system will be on display in the Gilbarco Veeder-Root
booth #4031 and the Power Integrity Corporation booth #3116 at the NACS
Show.
