Gregory H. Beason named President of Gilbarco North America

GREENSBORO, NC USA– May 8, 2007 – Gilbarco Veeder-Root announced that Gregory H. Beason is named president of Gilbarco North America. In his new position, Beason has leadership responsibility for the company’s entire North American business. He also has responsibility for Gilbarco’s Global Marketing activities. He reports to Martin Gafinowitz, Group Executive Gilbarco Veeder-Root. Beason will be based in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Beason was previously president of Danaher’s Commercial Aerospace business, where he led the company in double digit growth. Previously, Beason worked for 17 years at Allied Signal/Honeywell, where he held senior positions in general management, program management, operations, sales and marketing. Beason earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama.
