At Gilbarco Veeder-Root we aim to enhance our workforce by offering a variety of benefits to help meet our associates’ personal and professional needs. In addition to traditional health insurance programs and 401K plans, we also offer health club discounts, flexible spending accounts and, for qualified individuals, relocation assistance. The following are brief descriptions of the valuable benefits offered to our associates.

Medical Insurance: Gilbarco offers in-network and out-of-network medical, dental, and vision care benefits.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Plan: Associates can set aside money on a pre-tax basis for certain kinds of health care and/or dependent care expenses.  You do not need to be enrolled in a Danaher medical plan option or dental plan to contribute to these accounts.

Danaher Savings Plan: Upon hire, you are immediately eligible to enroll in the savings plan.  You can contribute between 1% and 20% of your eligible pay on a pre-tax basis, up to the annual IRS dollar limits.  The month following your one-year anniversary, the company will match 50% of each dollar you contribute on the first 6% of pay that you defer to the plan.  The month following your one-year anniversary, you are also eligible for a company retirement contribution equal to 3% of eligible pay.

Tuition Assistance: The policy provides reimbursement of between 75 and 100% of tuition, books, and fees for college-level courses related to your foreseeable growth within the corporation.

Vacation: Vacation eligibility is determined on a calendar year basis.
  • Hire prior to July 1 – 1 week (after completing six months of service)
  • Hire after July 1 – no vacation granted in year of hire.  2 weeks after January 1 (after completing six months of service)
  • One (1) year but less than five (5) years service – 2 weeks
  • Five (5) years but less than fifteen (15) years service – 3 weeks
  • Fifteen (15) plus years service – 4 weeks
Holidays: Eleven paid holidays per year.
