Inventory Planning
Managing on-site fuel inventories and the fuel replenishment schedule
requires a delicate balancing act and is a constant struggle. Even if
you are comfortable and confident that your total fuel management program
is under control, you're still spending hundreds of hours each week on
collecting basic inventory information. If you're like most, every day
you wish that there were a better way to collect the data and consolidate
it into a single report. In addition, you can"t always rely on a
single inventory reading per day so you need to either have scheduled
inventory readings reported to you throughout the day or you have to have
the ability to get real time inventory status at any site at any time.

This customer has 170 sites and was using 120 management hours each
week on data collection alone. After enrolling in Inventory Planning,
the dispatcher was able to spend more time on improving their overall
fuel management.
It doesn't matter if your sites have a stick or a tank gauge, we can
automate the data collection process and deliver your inventory information
to you in one consolidated report. You can choose up to four scheduled
data collection and reporting times each day, based on your needs. This
means that all you have to do is go to your secure web account and at
the click of a button, you have current inventory status for all sites.
In addition, you also have the ability to demand real time polling at
any time for any ATG site in your network. The Inventory Planning report
can contain any of the following information, based on your needs.
- Time/date stamp and site address
- Inventory level in gallons or liters
- Water level in gallons or liters
- Ullage
- Forecasts the next delivery needed for each tank
- Average daily sales per tank
To help you control your fuel management program even better you can
enroll any or all sites in the Alarm Management module, which provides
alarm response and automatic notification to up to 8 contacts that you
define. We can provide notification via email, fax, or even a personal
call from a fuel management analyst.
