About the Triad
Gilbarco is headquartered in beautiful Greensboro, NC, which is considered part of the Piedmont Triad. The Piedmont Triad region is made up of the twelve central North Carolina counties surrounding the cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point which are connected by Interstates 40, 85, 73, & 74. The area is served by the Piedmont Triad International Airport. Long known as one of the primary manufacturing and transportation hubs of the southeastern United States, the Triad is also an important educational and cultural region and occupies a prominent place in the history of the American Civil Rights Movement. This dynamic region includes a population of over 1.5 million residents and a labor force of approximately 800,000 workers.
