Gilbarco Veeder-Root launches new ATEX approved Red Jacket Submersible Turbine Pump for European region

Basildon, 14/05/2013 - Gilbarco Veeder-Root, the leader in the design and manufacture of Submersible Turbine Pumps, has utilised its experience and expertise to improve the overall functionality and operational safety of The Red Jacket 4" Submersible Turbine Pump range.

The new Red Jacket Submersible Turbine Pumps fully comply with the latest ATEX European safety standards (ATEX Category 1 - EN15268) through design enhancements of the entire submersible pump system. These design enhancements create three levels of safety protection that enable The Red Jacket Submersible Turbine Pump to operate safely in even the most high risk conditions, including when a fuel tank runs dry and contains only vapours.
